The most alternative wedding

Leopard print bridesmaids!

Leopard. Print. Bridesmaids. What more could you want.
I can honestly say, that this wedding is like no other I’ve ever photographed and will probably be like no other wedding I will photograph. Reason why? Because this wedding was completely based around the couple and it was exactly them.

As a couple Josh and Cis are both very cool and alternative people, this was massively reflected in their big day. Josh wore the most incredible pink velvet suit by Twisted Tailor with the coolest Bloody Mary Metal rings. Cis a short black Lazy Oaf dress with a crown and glory veil. And their bridesmaids all wore leopard print in a mix and match style that worked perfectly and made them all comfortable – because lets be honest there’s nothing worse than wearing something you don’t feel good in. Cis doesn’t like flowers, so instead the incredible Rachel Emma made them some celestial bouquets with matching button holes. Their venue was Cicely’s Step Dad’s converted Church. All the decorations were made by them both, except for their amazing photo booth wall created by Mariel Osborn.

Their advice to anyone getting married..

‘‘ MAKE SURE YOU DO SOMETHING THAT IS TRUE TO YOU AND REMEMBER, ITS YOUR DAY. “

I think this is such good advice, because its so easy for couples to get lost in traditions and pressure from family. But at the end of the day, this is about celebrating you both as a couple and your lives together. So if you don’t want a cringe picture of you both standing in front of a cake then don’t. If you wouldn’t normally go to church then why get married there? It’s really important to stop and question yourselves while wedding planning. Think, is this really something we want, that reflects us? And if it isn’t then bin it off. There is no right or wrong way to get married.
